WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump has left many baseball fans scratching their heads after his fumbling “word salad” while honoring the 2024 World Series winner, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The baseball team visited the White House on Monday, March 7, to be honored by the president for their spectacular feat at the 2024 World Series. The 78-year-old Commander-in-Chief appeared to stumble over his words while praising the West Coast team.

Among the visitors were the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw and the team's owner and chairman, Mark Walter, along with the other team members.

After the Florida Panthers were honored for their win in the Stanley Cup in February, the Dodgers’ feat was also celebrated at the White House on Monday.

As the POTUS started waxing poetics about the MLB champion, he appeared to jumble some of the words from his speech.

"This was the year the Dodgers faced down adversity, you went to the playoffs battered and bruised but not broken," Trump said while praising the Dodgers, before fumbling, "When you ran out the healthy arms, you ran out of really healthy— they had great arms but they ran out.”

Nevertheless, he recovered and concluded his speech at a high point, saying, "It’s called sports. It’s called baseball in particular and pitchers, I guess you could say, really particular,” the Irish Starreported.

While the MAGA spearhead had no more slips during the rest of the event, several fans started theorizing that the golf-loving POTUS has probably never watched a baseball game in his life.

Donald Trump's latest gaffe came amid critics alleging he was experiencing a gradual decline in cognitive abilities.

Donald Trump slammed for serving 'word salad' while honoring LA Dodgers

President Donald Trump's "word salad" apparently left social media users feeling "embarrassed" as they declared the MAGA spearhead has "never watched a single baseball game" in his whole life.

One of the social media users slammed the president's speech, while asking, "Why do I get the feeling he's never watched a single baseball game?"

"Thoughts of a child at 6 years old 😂," added someone else.

One person noted, "Trump even turns prepared written statements into deranged word salads."

"Dude knows absolutely nothing about baseball," declared another person.

Someone else strongly said, "Trump's rambling about "healthy arms" at the Dodgers' White House visit is just another incoherent mess. Can't he ever make sense? What an embarrassment."

"...Not their batting, not their pitching—just... their arms. Because when you think ‘baseball greatness,’ obviously the first thing that comes to mind is limb aesthetics," pointed out one netizen, before adding, "Next @POTUS is expected to compliment the Super Bowl MVP’s earlobes."

"Never seen anyone worse when he goes off prepared remarks," one individual commented.

Someone else added, "I’m reminded of my dementia patients who know a concept but struggle to speak about it."

"Everyone behind him looks like 'What the hell is he talking about?' with a few nervous smiles thrown in. Are they thinking 25th Amendment? If not, why not?" asked another social media user.

"Can anyone translate, please? I don't understand Imbecillian," questioned a disgruntled netizen.

Someone else pointed out, "Never heard such word jumble. If he doesn’t have dementia I don’t know who does. Not being able to string together a cogent sentence is more than just not being articulate."
