WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump has fired back after Bruce Springsteen accused him of running a “corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous” government at the first show of his Land of Hopes and Dreams tour in Manchester, England, on Wednesday, May 14.

The musician had begun his show by saying, “The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock and roll, in dangerous times.”

The 75-year-old further stated, “We ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!”

Donald Trump says 'obnoxious' Bruce Springsteen ought to 'keep his mouth shut'

In retaliation, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform on Friday and wrote, “I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States,” as reported by USA Today.

“Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy — Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK, who fervently supported Crooked Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent FOOL, and our WORST EVER President, who came close to destroying our Country,” the 78-year-old added.

Patting himself on the back, the commander-in-chief continued, "If I wasn’t elected, it would have been GONE by now! Sleepy Joe didn’t have a clue as to what he was doing, but Springsteen is “dumb as a rock,” and couldn’t see what was going on, or could he (which is even worse!)?"

"This dried out 'prune' of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country, that’s just 'standard fare.' Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!" Trump concluded.

Donald Trump takes aim at Taylor Swift again

Bruce Springsteen was not the only celeb whom Donald Trump attacked on Friday. In a rather bizarre move, he took aim at Taylor Swift, writing, “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’”

In September last year, the Republican leader had posted, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" after the Grammy winner threw her support behind his opponent, former Vice President Kamala Harris, for the 2024 election after their ABC News presidential debate.

In an Instagram post, the 'Lover' singer said she'll be voting for Harris "because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos," she added.

The president also took a dig at Swift after she got booed during the Super Bowl in February.

At the time, the 78-year-old wrote, "The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!"

Donald Trump fumes over Supreme Court decision to halt deportations without legal process

In another post on Friday, Donald Trump blasted the Supreme Court after it halted his deportations of alleged Venezuelan gang members.

He wrote, “The Supreme Court has just ruled that the worst murderers, drug dealers, gang members, and even those who are mentally insane, who came into our Country illegally, are not allowed to be forced out without going through a long, protracted, and expensive Legal Process, one that will take, possibly, many years for each person, and one that will allow these people to commit many crimes before they even see the inside of a Courthouse.”

Taking a dig at former President Joe Biden, Trump continued, “The Supreme Court of the United States is not allowing me to do what I was elected to do. Sleepy Joe Biden allowed MILLIONS of Criminal Aliens to come into our Country without any ‘PROCESS’ but, in order to get them out of our Country, we have to go through a long and extended PROCESS.”

“In any event, thank you to Justice Alito and Justice Thomas for attempting to protect our Country. This is a bad and dangerous day for America!” he concluded.
