WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump is set to visit the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday, October 10, according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
The visit comes amid renewed public speculation about Trump’s health after a viral video from a recent White House roundtable showed the president appearing fatigued, with what viewers described as a “drooping mouth.”

Trump to visit Walter Reed for ‘routine yearly checkup’
In the official statement, Leavitt said, “On Friday morning, President Trump will visit Walter Reed Medical Center for a planned meeting and remarks with the troops.” Following his visit, Trump is expected to return to the White House.

Leavitt added that Trump is also “considering going to the Middle East shortly thereafter.” She later clarified that the visit to Walter Reed was part of his “routine yearly checkup.”
The timing of this new visit has prompted renewed curiosity about the president’s health status.
Trump's viral ‘droopy mouth’ video reignites health concerns
Trump’s upcoming hospital visit follows closely after a viral clip from an “Antifa roundtable” at the White House. In the video, Trump appears visibly tired, his mouth drooping as he listens to speakers. The footage, shared widely on social media, was captioned, “Trump's mouth starts drooping as he struggles to stay awake during this antifa roundtable.”
Speculation over Trump’s health has persisted since his return to the presidency. Observers have pointed out a noticeable discoloration on his right hand, reportedly from bruising due to frequent handshakes, and what some describe as a persistent facial droop during lengthy public appearances.

Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency in July. When pressed on the president’s treatment plan and whether his physician would be available to answer questions, Leavitt stated, “I don't want to make that commitment on behalf of the physician, but it's certainly something we can look into and explore out of the effort of transparency, because unlike the previous White House, there is nothing to hide.”

Addressing rumors that Trump had been keeping a low public profile, Leavitt that the president remains highly active. “The President was seen literally 24/7 all of the time,” she said, insisting there was no attempt to conceal his condition.

The combination of Trump’s upcoming hospital visit, his visible fatigue during recent events, and ongoing discussions about his health has fueled growing public interest, and concern, over the 79-year-old president’s fitness as he continues his second term in office.
