WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump’s sit-down interview with CBS correspondent Norah O’Donnell on '60 Minutes' aired Sunday, November 2, sparking a wave of online discussion, not for the content of the conversation, but for the 79-year-old’s appearance.

Viewers claimed Trump looked “tired,” “sweaty,” and “unwell” during the broadcast.

Viewers question Trump’s appearance during ‘60 Minutes’ interview

Clips of the interview quickly spread across social media, with several users focusing on Trump’s demeanor and physical state. “This is Trump on '60 Minutes' right now. He looks absolutely awful. He’s incoherent, rambling, and looks like he’s dripping in sweat. This man is not well!” wrote left-wing political influencer Harry Sisson on X.

Despite the criticism, Trump made no direct acknowledgment of the online chatter.

Prior to the interview, he posted on Truth Social, “I will be interviewed on '60 Minutes' right after the Kansas City / Buffalo NFL Football Game. Hopefully, they will treat me as well as they did Kamala. Enjoy!”

The interview began airing shortly after 7:30 PM ET, with Trump later adding, “Hopefully college football will never make this ridiculous change! In the meantime, I’m getting ready to watch President Donald J Trump (Me!) on 60 Minutes.”

The interview quickly sparked a wave of speculation online, with several users expressing concern or disbelief over President Trump’s appearance.

“No makeup artist can hide the fact that he is circling the drain in real time,” one user wrote, while another quipped, “Are we completely sure he isn’t already dead and this is an elaborate Weekend at Bernie’s situation with a ventriloquist?”

Others compared his latest appearance to previous interviews, with one person remarking, “👀 at the difference in his face from the 60 Minutes interview in 2020!!”

Some expressed a mix of criticism and concern. “Easily has a stroke, easily losing it. We should pray for him,” one user posted, while another observed, “His right eye was wide open in the beginning of the interview but by the end it was almost closed 👀.”

Not all reactions were negative, however. One viewer defended Trump, saying, “He’s old and seems fine. What’s your excuse?”

Trump blasts NFL rule before '60 Minutes' interview

Before the segment aired, Trump also commented on the NFL game preceding the broadcast, criticizing recent rule changes. “I HATE WATCHING THE NFL’S NEW KICK OFF RULE. IT’S RIDICULOUS - TAKES THE PAGEANTRY AND GLAMOUR AWAY FROM THE GAME, AND DOES NOTHING FOR SAFETY,” he wrote, adding that he wanted the sport to return to “what it used to be.”

The remarks came as the president returned to Washington following a weekend trip to Florida, ahead of his '60 Minutes' appearance.

Sunday’s debate over Trump’s appearance revived ongoing speculation surrounding his health. Last month, the president revealed he had undergone an MRI and a cognitive test, which his physician described as “excellent overall health.” “I got an MRI, it was perfect,” Trump said, declining to provide additional details.
