Trump's grandson Donnie could surpass Barron as the tallest in his family, claims report

WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump's grandson, Donald Trump Jr's son, Donald John Trump III, also known as Donnie, could surpass POTUS' youngest son, Barron Trump, as the tallest in his family, according to a new report by The List.
Barron himself gathered the limelight last year during his public appearances due to his height. The president's youngest son reportedly stands between 6 feet 7 inches and 6 feet 9 inches.
Report claims Trump's grandson Donnie could surpass Barron as the tallest in his family
In June 2025, Donald Trump Jr shared pictures from his daughter Chloe Trump's birthday, where his son Donnie garnered attention for his tall frame as they attended a hockey game.
Interestingly, at just 16, he is grabbing eyeballs with his height, reportedly edging past his father's, who is believed to be 6'1". Adding to the height speculation, Trump Jr’s ex-fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle also shared a series of photos in July 2025 on Instagram, where Donnie appeared even taller than just a month before.

Moreover, both Guilfoyle and her son, Ronan Villency, seemed dwarfed by Donnie’s height, as reported by the outlet.

Despite Barron standing at a massive height, his nephew Donnie’s rapid growth has led some to wonder if he will soon match or even surpass his famously tall family member.
Interestingly, Trump once openly admitted that he is not fond of getting clicked with his youngest son, Barron, as it makes the POTUS look hilariously short.
However, as Donnie appears to match Barron, or even outgrow him, President Trump might skip taking a picture with his grandson as well.

Additionally, Trump has often been criticized for talking about his height. His former Republican rivals have also taken jabs in the past, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
He said, while sparring with Trump during the heated race for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, according to ABC: “I don't understand why his hands are the size of someone who is 5'2.”
Donald Trump joked about 'not that tall' son Barron Trump's height
In May 2025, President Donald Trump turned the East Room into a party as the Florida Gators basked in their NCAA men’s basketball championship glory, and the POTUS couldn’t help slipping in a few Trumpian one-liners.
He said, "They’re all good-looking guys. And they’re definitely tall," before referring to his tall son, Barron.
"You know, I have a son who's 6-foot-9," he said. The president also added, "He always says, ‘Dad, I'm not that tall compared to some of these guys.’ And now, I understand what he's talking about."

The POTUS also praised the team’s gritty road to the championship.
