Trump's new unconventional portrait in White House sparks mockery: 'That's not artwork, it's obscenity'

WASHINGTON, DC: In his latest attempt to remodel the White House, Donald Trump has hung yet another piece of untraditional art on the walls of his current residence.
Hanging in the West Wing, the illustration captures the current president with two other prominent Republicans, former presidents Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan, according to the Daily Mail.
The image looks to be made by artist Dick Bobnick, who offers replicas of the work, titled Great American Patriots, on his website for $27 to $88.
On Bobnick’s website, the artwork is listed as a part of the collection called "Faces of American History," which also contains another depiction of Trump with a bald eagle named America Soaring.

Donald Trump is on a mission to redecorate the White House with self-portraits
The commander-in-chief’s portrait with Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln is the latest flourish in the White House’s Donald Trump-era makeover.
In April, Trump ordered to hang a new portrait right between the portraits of two former first ladies, Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton. The photo is a close-up of Trump’s face with the American flag’s stars and stripes superimposed on it.

This came just a few weeks after he made headlines for hanging an artwork based on his raised fist photograph after the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, last year.
The White House revealed the portrait in an X (formerly Twitter) post, with a caption reading, “Some new artwork at the White House.” The portrait was placed in an East Wing spot previously occupied by a painting of Barack Obama.

Trump has also decked out the Oval Office in gold, including golden coasters with his name on them, golden trophies, and golden accents on office moldings.
“It’s the Golden Office for the Golden Age,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reportedly told WSJ in an email last month.
Internet trolls Donald Trump over new White House portrait
Donald Trump’s new unconventional portrait with Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln was met with fierce trolling by internet users, with one saying, “Who’s the artist, his new grandchild?”
A person wrote, "Two Men and a Baby," while someone else added, “That's not 'artwork.' It's an obscenity.”
“Calling that artwork is a stretch. It looks more like a paint by number,” a user quipped. "Uh oh... there's trouble in paradise!" an individual said, sharing another portrait of Reagan and Lincoln with former president George Bush.
"Hideous. He's doing almost as much damage to the White House itself as he's doing to the rest of the country," one more noted.
"Never mind that Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan are both despised by modern hardcore MAGA Trumpists, the fact that this cheesy propaganda hogwash is defacing the inside of the White House says it all about the clown-show Donny Two Dolls is running," a tweet read.
"He's asking to be haunted and not in a good way," another quipped.
