MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: It is indeed a 'stormy' day in the New York courthouse as former adult actress Stormy Daniels faced the wrath of defense attorney Susan Necheles during cross-examination on her previous posts on X, in which she stated, “I don’t owe him s**t and I’ll never give that orange turd a dime.”

The 45-year-old was ordered to pay a hefty amount of almost $300,000 to Donald Trump after a failed defamation lawsuit.

Daniels, whose behavior noticeably turned hostile during cross-examination, said that she posted negative things about the former president “Because he made fun of [her] first.”

Stormy Daniels wants Donald Trump to be held accountable

Daniels said she called him names in retaliation, per Fox News.

When Trump's attorney Necheles asked, “You despise him and make fun of him?” She responded, “because he started it.”

Daniels agreed that she started acting in the adult industry because she wanted to make more money. “Don’t we all want more money in our jobs, it is the united.. that’s what we do here,” Daniels said.

She testified that she wants Trump to be held accountable, and wants him to go to jail if he is found accountable. Daniels also agreed when asked if she hates the former president.

Stormy Daniels denies 'willingly' signing the hush money agreement with Donald Trump

The adult star said that she did not "willingly" sign a statement denying a 2006 sexual encounter with then-real estate mogul Donald Trump, the incident which the former president has repeatedly denied.

Daniels testified that she received a statement from her lawyer Keith Davidson, and confirmed she signed it but initially didn’t want to because it was not true and said “anything at all, anything, was a violation of the NDA.” She said she signed it after consulting with her lawyer.

Daniels confirmed and knew that Davidson would send her statement to Trump's ex-lawyer Michel Cohen, but did not specifically know Cohen would send the statement to the Wall Street Journal. Daniels said the article caused “chaos” in her life, and "blew [her] cover."

Stormy Daniels on why she appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel show in 2018

Daniels testified that her 2018 appearance on 'The Jimmy Kimmel Show' was to give an example of how to do promotions but not break the NDA.

Daniels was given the statement to sign in a hotel room when she was in town for the Kimmel show appearance. She said that she signed “Stormy Daniels” but not how her signature normally looks “as a tip off to Jimmy Kimmel…that I did not sign it willingly.” When asked if the statement was false, Daniels said, “yes.”

Internet reacts to Stormy Daniels defending her 'orange turd' remarks

Netizens backed Stormy Daniels after she defended her remarks regarding Donald Trump.

One X user wrote, "Trump's defense attorney must be grasping at straws to bring up Stormy Daniels' tweet because he can’t be defended," while another tweeted "Trump can dish it but he can’t take it. So soft."

"Name calling from her has no weight in whether the event occurred or not," one opined and another said, "Truth hurts."

"The truth can have a lasting effect on old overweight balding narcissists," tweeted one X user.
