Twice-wed Megyn Kelly claims Barack and Michelle Obama ‘married the wrong people’ amid divorce rumors

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Megyn Kelly has taken a dig at the Obamas, claiming Barack and Michelle “married the wrong people”.
The twice-married journalist’s remarks came as response to a clip from the former first lady’s new podcast, ‘IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson’ in which Michelle spoke about the “ebbs and flows” of relationships, as reported by the Daily Beast.

She had said, “I tell people—and folks think this is harsh—it’s, like, ‘You’re gonna have a bad decade.’ I mean, I’ve been married to my husband for 30 plus years …”
“If the odds were you’re going to be married to your partner for 50 years and 10 of those years could be bad, you’d sign up for it. You know, and that’s really how it works out,” the 61-year-old added on Wednesday, April 17.

But Kelly was not convinced. During the Friday, April 18, episode of ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’, she said, “I think she and he married the wrong people."
The 54-year-old continued, “Is it, Michelle? It’s not. I’ve been married for 17 and a half years and not one was bad,” referring to her second marriage to author and podcast host Douglas Brunt.
She was first married to anesthesiologist Dan Kendall for a few years before it ended in 2006.
Megyn Kelly earlier weighed in on Barack and Michelle Obama’s divorce rumors
Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan also seemed to agree with Kelly as she told her, “I can’t think of anybody I would go to for advice less than Michelle Obama. She really doesn’t know what she’s talking about.”
However, this was not the first time the political commentator has commented on the marriage of the Obamas.

She had previously shared her thoughts on possible divorce of Michelle and the former commander-in-chief.
“I don't know whether it is true, but if it is, it truly would be a political earthquake in Democratic circles, never mind America,” she said.
Michelle Obama slammed reports of divorce

However, during a recent episode of Sophie Bush's ‘Work in Progress’ podcast, Michelle shut down the rumors.
The speculations heightened after she missed attending high-profile events lately with her husband of over two decades.
She said, “The interesting thing is that when I say ‘no,’ for the most part, people are like, ‘I get it,’ and I’m OK.’ And that’s the thing that we as women struggle with — disappointing people. So much so that people, they couldn’t even fathom that I was making a choice for myself, that they had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing.”
Internet slams Megyn Kelly over smearing the Obamas
Meanwhile, Kelly has been slammed online for commenting on the Obamas' marriage. A person on Facebook commented, "The jealousy is strong with this one."
Another person shared, "Megyn Kelly is absolutely vile." The third one wrote, "You know that's not your business Megyn. Maybe we should question your marriage and make up stuff about it?"
A user asked, "Self-important twit. Why is she so concerned about someone else's marriage?"
The second user posted, "What an evil person! Worry about your own marriage Megyn. I seriously doubt she’s happy with all her negative comments."
A comment read, "This trump lover has lost her mind, the Obamas out shine her 100%."
