LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Megyn Kelly recently shared details of her painful health battle and blamed it on the COVID-19 vaccines.

The political commentator told the Daily Mail, “I just had my annual physical, and it's still testing positive for autoimmune. I really, really regret having gotten the vaccine.”

Kelly took two shots of Pfizer in 2020 before getting an additional booster in 2021 after her doctors asked her to do so.

Megyn Kelly says she ‘trusted’ doctors and took the vaccine

Megyn Kelly revealed that she was not in favor of taking the shots but had to because of the New York City rule that was not allowing people to go out without proof of vaccination.

The 54-year-old host said, “You could get the fake cards, but it was hard. I didn't know how to do it. So, I trusted my doctors and I did it.”

However, weeks after getting the booster shot, she was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition.

She went for a checkup to a rheumatologist, who speculated that the illness might have arisen because of Kelly taking jabs and then getting Covid-19.

She told the publication, “I said [to the rheumatologist], ‘Could it be that I had the third shot and then within a month of it, got the Omicron version. And she said, ‘Yes.’”

Megyn Kelly claims government 'lied' about vaccines

Megyn Kelly further noted that “it's an unfortunate thing. You can't undo the past,” before adding, “But we were lied to. It was not an informed assumption of the risk.”

The Daily Mail reported that many side effects of the Covid-19 vaccine, like allergic reactions and anaphylaxis, have been listed over the years.

As per the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), inflammation of the heart lining, myocarditis, inflammation of the heart muscle, or pericarditis, and an autoimmune disease called the Guillain-Barre Syndrome, are also linked to the Covid-19 vaccine.

Concluding her interview, Kelly asserted, “There's no question people have been hurt and even killed. I, for one, have learned a ton, but remain pissed off about how the whole thing was handled.”

Cardiologist suggested ‘millions of Americans are suffering in silence’

Like Megyn Kelly, a cardiologist named Dr Aseem Malhotra had also accused the vaccine of causing psoriasis.

He also hailed Kelly in February after she opened up about her health scare and had said, "I’ve never been more wrong about anything. That is the Number 1 thing I’ve been wrong about," as per The New York Post.

“The fact that one of the United States' most popular public figures only just opened up about being vaccine-injured, feeling safe to discuss it with a doctor who understands the situation, suggests that many, perhaps millions of Americans are suffering in silence,” the doctor added.
