NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The recent revelation of Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago Spotify playlist has stirred up a storm of speculation and intrigue, with 'The Five' scrambling to decipher the musical preferences of the former president.

Dubbing the former POTUS as "DJ Donald," host Jesse Watters claimed the playlist is a "Rosetta Stone" that could help in unlocking the mysteries of Trump's mind. Meanwhile, the playlist has already become a subject of fascination and scrutiny online.

'The Five' mocks media's obsession with Trump's Spotify playlist

"Behold DJ Donald. Left-wing Axios doing a deep dive on how Trump's Mar-a-Lago Spotify playlist is a Rosetta Stone that demystifies how his mind works," quipped Watters, setting the stage for a discussion that delved into the psyche of the 45th President of the United States.

"So what is Trump jamming to these days? Broadway show tunes like "Phantom of the Opera', and old school bangers from the likes of Elvis, Lionel Richie, Guns N’ Roses, Elton John," Jesse Watters added.

"What does this tell you about the former president?" he asked Judge Jeanine Pirro.

Judge Jeanine expressed skepticism about the interpretive significance of Trump's playlist (@FoxNews/YouTube)

"Well, I can’t figure out what they are trying to tell us. Are they trying to tell us that based upon the music they can get into his mind and tell you that he is a dictator? How are they interpreting this? And by the way, I love the image of Deejay T," she responded.

Judge Jeanine's skepticism was met with a chorus of agreement from her fellow panelists.

"That is better than the mug shot. He should make a t-shirt out of that. Young people would love that. He’s going to love it if he hasn’t seen it already. Look, who doesn’t like that on playlist," Jeanine added.

Jesse Watters highlighted the absurdity of scrutinizing Trump's playlist as a reflection of his character (@FoxNews/YouTube)

"If you have a party, you play what you like, you turn it up if you like the volume, you are in the car and driving, you are in charge. Why, all of a sudden, is this something that is like, you know, indicative of what a terrible person he is? It means he loves music," she said.

Dana Perino, meanwhile, confessed her own curiosity about Trump's musical selections. "Are you going to Spotify to download the playlist?" Jesse asked her eagerly. "I just might," Perino replied with a smile.

Dana Perino noted the media frenzy surrounding Barack Obama's Spotify list (@FoxNews/Youtube)

"I like a lot of those songs. I thought there was a disturbing lack of country music on the list and I would like to recommend some songs for the next party," she added.

The discussion took a broader turn as the panelists compared Trump's playlist to those of other political figures.

Perino noted the media frenzy surrounding Barack Obama's Spotify list. "Remember Obama’s Spotify list is basically more anticipated than the Oscar nominations," she remarked.

"The media cannot get enough of it. I think it is kind of a weird piece, I get that, but people like to read about - they want to know about the people running for office. Biden’s, it’s like the snooze button," Perino quipped.

Social media lit up with a flurry of responses to the hosts' statements.

Another said, "If you are going after a person's taste in music, you got nothing."

"These people are effing nuts. Let me get this straight. Because Trump plays the music he likes at his house and likes to turn up the volume for his favorites, this proves he's a dictator. You've got to be kidding me!" expressed one person.

"They got nothing left," said another.

"Does the MSM have better things to report than going after what music Trump listens to," someone asked.

"How utterly childish! DIMs, if that's all you got, you're done! C-YA!" one comment read.
