‘Mr. Nobody Against Putin’ Filmmaker Warn About Losing Freedom During Oscars Speech
The team behind Mr. Nobody Against Putin did more than accept an Oscar. They used the stage to deliver a blunt warning about how freedom disappears. After winning Best Documentary Feature, co-director David Borenstein said the film is about “how you lose your country,” then pointed to silence, complicity, and oligarch control of media as the steps that slowly hollow out a society.
