Trump Calls Out Massie for being the ‘Only Republican Voting Against Tax Cuts’

Donald Trump sharply criticized Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie during a campaign-style speech, accusing him of opposing key Republican priorities. Trump claimed his administration’s tax cuts would leave “millions of Kentucky families with more money in their pockets,” noting that Democrats unanimously voted against the measure and that Massie was the only Republican to do so. He alleged that Massie voted against tax relief for seniors, overtime workers, and tipped employees, as well as funding for border security and welfare eligibility checks. Trump also criticized Massie for siding with Democrats during a government shutdown dispute. The former president urged support for Navy veteran and farmer Ed Galrine, whom he endorsed as a primary challenger to Massie, calling him a war hero and strong patriot.
