LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Vin Diesel paid tribute to Dolly Parton in his own way. The 'Fast & Furious' actor made sure to sing for her as he paid his tribute.

Diesel used his original voice as background audio for the soundtrack to honor Parton. Diesel never shared a stage with or worked with Parton at any point in his career; this new gesture toward the country singer came as a surprise to both his fans and Parton’s.

Speaking about Parton, her track “I Will Always Love You” is one of her most famous songs and was released in 1973.

Vin Diesel pays tribute to Dolly Parton with emotional rendition of ‘I Will Always Love You’

On Instagram, Diesel, aged 59, posted a picture of Parton, along with an audio clip of him singing "I Will Always Love You," the renowned song first written and sung by Parton. As he sings, “So, goodbye / Please, don’t cry” in the audio clip, Diesel appears to become emotional. He used a prayer hands emoji with the post.

As soon as he shared the post on Instagram, the comments section filled with tributes and praise for Diesel’s singing.

For those unaware, "I Will Always Love You" was first composed and sung by Parton, and became highly successful in the form of a cover sung by Whitney Houston for the 1992 film 'The Bodyguard.'

In an interview conducted by Larry King on CNN in 2003, Parton recalled her experience of hearing Houston sing "I Will Always Love You."

"One day I was riding along in the car and just turned the radio on, and I heard her start that a cappella, like, 'If I should stay...'" Parton recollected. "It took me a few seconds. I thought, 'What is that? That's so familiar.' And then when she went into the 'I will always love you,' I just about had a heart attack and died."

"I just about wrecked," Parton concluded. "It was a great feeling, though. What a great record she did on it."
