LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dolly Parton might have left for her heavenly abode, but her memories and righteous deeds remain behind as her legacy, just like her soulful tracks. The singer-songwriter took her last breath at the age of 80.
Almost everyone close to her has paid tribute, especially Miley Cyrus. Now, one of the Cyrus family daughters and Miley's younger sister, Noah, has also shared her tribute. Noah reflected on how Parton inspired her to be herself and what made the 'I Will Always Love You' singer so unique.

On August 27, Miley's younger sister, Noah, took to Instagram to pay tribute to Parton following the singer-songwriter's death. In a lengthy note honoring the “great” Parton, Noah reflected on the profound impact the country music icon had on her life, her artistry, and the Cyrus family.
She began,“I wanted the first words you heard to come from Miley, and now that she’s spoken, i’d like to share a few words about Dolly." She continued, “Dolly was singular, one of a kind. Dolly was a rainbow to our world for nearly six decades, and no one could ever come nor will ever come close to replacing her."
“Her impact on the world, and on me as an artist, is unparalleled. She was an angel among us who not only wrote songs that spoke to us all, but whose kindness, compassion, and empathy toward those who truly needed it were at the core of who Dolly was,' she continued.
Noah then opened up about Parton's special relationship with the Cyrus family, particularly her bond with Miley. She wrote, “Her beautiful relationship with my family, especially my sister, is one I will be grateful for my entire life. I am so grateful to her for inspiring me to be who i am, wear those wigs, have those long nails, to write my stories, and to heal people through music."
Reflecting on Parton's lasting legacy, Noah added, “I am heartbroken she is gone, but only physically. She came into this world, shared her light, and changed it forever."
"She will now live in our hearts, and her music will continue to be a friend when lonely, and to celebrate with happiness. It will inspire and encourage young songwriters that will discover and learn from the Great Dolly Parton."
At last, Noah concluded her emotional tribute by writing, “Dolly, you got your wings. We will ALWAYS love you.”
Miley Cyrus remembers Dolly Parton as an 'angel'
Heartbroken by the loss of her godmother, Miley Cyrus shared an emotional tribute to Dolly Parton, bidding farewell to the 80-year-old singer-songwriter. Cyrus described Parton as an “angel” who has always been “by her side” and reflected on the deeply personal bond they shared.
The feeling of losing my Aunt Dolly is beyond what feels right to share. Our most sacred moments were private and they’ll stay there behind the stage, beneath the glamour & between our hearts.
