NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Veteran Hollywood actor Jon Voight took a jab at Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris in one of his recent videos on X titled 'Civil War' and called the recent election cycle the 'war of our lifetime'.

Notably, the Hollywood legend, who is also the father of Angelina Jolie, has been an avid supporter of former President Donald Trump for many years including his run-up to the 2024 race.

Voight said in the video, "My friends, this is the war of our lifetime now. We the people are in trouble if this nation picks Kamala Harris. We need to stop this crime that is happening."

He added, "It's a war crime that Obama is directing and Kamala Harris will be the cackling hyena that just listens and repeats. If we don't stop this horror, you my friends will have the biggest horror that you will not know how to end."

He further mentioned, "We the people are in danger and we must vote for President Trump as he will save this nation and the left are all afraid of his strength because he is only for the people. He's not for the power, the greed, the lies or wanting to destroy one's hard-earned earnings. We must stop this madness now, our children are in danger."

"And all of you who think this is the greatest economy, you will find that your life will sink into a hole of darkness and the freedom we all once had will be burned in the dark plague of the darkest time in history like the destruction of the civil war," he mentioned.

He concluded the video and said, "God bless America and he will protect our nation against this evil left and Donald Trump will make America great again. Much love to him. Much love."

Voight had earlier supported Trump, where in 2022 he predicted in a video that Trump would be returning to the White House after the 2024 presidential election.

He said in the 2022 video, "We're in danger of a third world war. Can you not see the lie? Wake up ... It's a dark web. A dark world. But not for long. A change is coming. A new light will emerge. The one president who understood truths ... Trump will return to the presidency. Allow Trump to rebuild our soil and our land so we can rise to our glory."
