LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Former president Donald Trump couldn't seem to let go of Vice President Kamala Harris' speech at the Democratic National Convention, even the day after it occurred.

Following his rant on Truth Social during Harris' address, Trump continued to criticize her speech at an event held at a Las Vegas restaurant on Friday, August 24.

He claimed that Harris made no mention of the border and instead fixated on her frequent expressions of gratitude to the audience.

During his remarks in Las Vegas, Donald Trump mocked Kamala Harris for the numerous times she thanked the audience.

"She mentioned ‘thank you’ about 50 times,” Trump said, before mimicking her by repeating, “Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you,” while making a guttural noise for dramatic effect.

He then continued with, “Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank -- thank, thank.” Trump concluded his mockery with a question, “What the hell is wrong with her?”

The Harris campaign quickly responded by posting a clip of Trump’s comments on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Donald Trump claims Kamala Harris copied his tip proposal

Donald Trump didn’t stop at criticizing Kamala Harris’ speech. He went on to claim that the Democratic presidential nominee had copied his campaign’s proposal on tipping.

Speaking at the same event, Trump promised workers that they would “keep 100% of your tip income” and asserted that Harris had taken the idea from him by “copying us” CNN reported.

Donald Trump's support for RFK Jr

The Republican frontrunner also announced his endorsement of Robert F Kennedy Jr, who suspended his campaign and declared his support for Donald Trump.

“Three great causes drove me to enter this race in the first place, primarily, and these are the principal causes that persuaded me to leave the Democratic Party and run as an independent, and now to throw my support to President Trump,” RFK Jr said during his address in Arizona.

Trump acknowledged this endorsement, calling it “a very nice endorsement from RFK Jr.” and added, “That’s big. He’s a great guy, respected by everybody.”

RFK Jr's family slams him for endorsing Donald Trump

Several of Robert F Kennedy Jr’s siblings issued a statement condemning his decision to support Donald Trump, calling it a “betrayal of the values that our father and family hold most dear.”

The statement, signed by Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Courtney Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy, Chris Kennedy, and Rory Kennedy, expressed their dismay and reiterated their support for Kamala Harris and her running mate, Governor Tim Walz.

“We want an America filled with hope and bound together by a shared vision of a brighter future, a future defined by individual freedom, economic promise, and national pride," the statement read.

"We believe in Harris and Walz. Our brother Bobby’s decision to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and family hold most dear. It is a sad ending to a sad story,” they added to the statement.
