WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President Kamala Harris didn't hold back as she took aim at former President Donald Trump's recent comments about Black people.

During an appearance on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' with Mika Brzezinski, Harris called out Trump for his claim that having "many Black friends" proves he isn’t racist.

The segment on 'Morning Joe' also featured Hadley Duvall, a survivor of sexual assault, who highlighted the dangers of restrictive abortion laws in red states.

Duvall, who became pregnant at 12 after years of abuse by her stepfather, shared her story to emphasize the stakes for women in the upcoming election.

"It does not matter if she is 12, 9, 34… If there is a woman who is in that reproductive age, then, you know, her life is at stake during this election," Duvall said.

Further, Trump's remarks, made in a Semafor interview, were intended to highlight his supposed connection to the Black community.

“I have so many Black friends that if I were a racist, they wouldn’t be friends; they would know better than anybody, and fast,” the ex-president said.

He suggested that his numerous felony charges make him more relatable to Black voters, who he said have faced similar discrimination. “A lot of them feel that similar things have happened to them,” Trump said.

“I mean, they’ve expressed that to me very plainly and very clear. They see what’s happened to them,” per Mediaite.

Harris, however, found these comments deeply offensive. "It's insulting for a number of reasons including he has reduced a whole population of people down to a sum total of what is in his mind who they are,” she added. “And he’s wrong.”

A third said, "Hey playing the race card is fun! Now let's do many black men Kamala Harris has put into prison vs Trump....any takers?"
