'Well said': Internet sides with Joe Scarborough as he slams Lindsey Graham for opposing foreign aid bill
MIAMI, FLORIDA: Joe Scarborough displayed no mercy in his criticism of Senator Lindsey Graham's stance against a foreign aid bill, accusing him of aligning with former President Donald Trump's agenda.
The focal point of contention revolves around a foreign aid bill that cleared the US Senate during an overnight session early on February 13. This bill, totaling $95 million in approved aid, now heads to the House.
Scarborough condemns Lindsey Graham's opposition to Foreign Aid Bill, citing allegiance to Trump
However, Speaker Mike Johnson has already indicated his reluctance to bring it to a vote. His reasoning stems from the bill's exclusion of any border policy, which he has previously deemed unnecessary.
During debates on the Senate floor late February 12, Graham advocated for providing aid to Ukraine in the form of a loan, aligning with Trump's recent remarks made at a political rally.

According to CNN, Trump's stance, echoed by Graham, emphasized providing the aid with the expectation of repayment, stating, "Give them the money, and if they can pay it back, they pay it back, but if they go to another nation, they drop us like a dog."
Opening his argument, Scarborough highlighted the bipartisan efforts led by Oklahoma Republican James Lankford to draft what some consider the most stringent border security bill in three decades, if not ever.
In the wake of these recent developments, some internet users sided with Scarborough, writing, "Graham is a coward. He goes whichever way he perceives the wind is blowing. Right now, he thinks it's blowing in the direction of the FG. If the FG loses in '24, he will change sides again. This is a man with no center and no scruples. Let's hope he's booted out of office".

One more user chimed in, saying, "Well said. Joe."
Ms. Lindsay is clearly compromised. Say it Joe. It's been obvious for years. Ever since that round of golf in 2017. Trump is a mobster

Scarborough criticizes Trump's argument and Lindsey Graham's shift on foreign aid
However, Scarborough pointed out, "Some say the toughest border security bill ever, and they were going to pass it. And then Donald Trump told them not to pass it. And so Lindsey Graham went from wanting to pass it to not wanting to pass it."
“Now Lindsey Graham [is] completely betraying, his past, completely betraying the memory of John McCain, completely betraying the people of Ukraine, completely betraying the people of Israel, completely betraying the people of Taiwan,” Scarborough remarked, further adding, “Why? Why? All because Donald Trump told him so.”
“Can you imagine being that weak?” he scoffed, continuing “I can’t. I can’t imagine being such a political coward that you would betray everything you ever believed because a failed reality TV show host told you t.”
“And let’s just be really clear here because Donald Trump is sounding like, as usual, a complete idiot, and Lindsey Graham knows better than to accept the idiot’s argument on giving money to Ukraine, giving money to Israel, giving money, to Taiwan to defend themselves,” he continued.
"Lindsey Graham and other Republicans consistently argued for providing aid to allies, often citing phrases like 'it's better to fight them over there than fight them over here,' mimicking Graham's southern accent," Scarborough remarked. "And while I won't delve into a history lesson, similar arguments persisted long after World War One."
Despite his initial vow not to delve into history, Scarborough proceeded to do just that.
