WASHINGTON, DC: The White House criticized House Democrats after they released what officials described as “cherry-picked” photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate, including images of President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, and filmmaker Woody Allen.

The administration accused Democrats on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform of pushing a "false narrative" after making public more than 85 photos tied to Epstein.

Democrats are trying to create a 'false narrative,' says White House

White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson criticized Democrats, accusing them of "releasing cherry-picked photos with random redactions to try and create a false narrative."

She said, "Here’s the reality: Democrats like Stacey Plaskett and Hakeem Jeffries were soliciting money and meetings from Epstein AFTER he was a convicted s** offender."

Jackson also said, "The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked."

She argued, "Trump administration has done more for Epstein’s victims than Democrats ever have by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing thousands of pages of documents and calling for further investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends."

She ended by urging, "The media to stop regurgitating Democrat talking points and start asking Democrats why they wanted to hang around Epstein after he was convicted."

A White House official told Fox News on Friday that House Democrats carefully selected which photos to release and applied inconsistent redactions for political reasons. The official said none of the materials released show President Trump engaged in any wrongdoing.

The new photo release from Epstein estate comes about a week after House Democrats said they had received “never-before-seen photos and videos” from Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, offering a disturbing look inside Epstein’s world.

On Friday, December 12, Oversight Committee Democrats posted on X that, "Oversight Dems received 95,000 new photos from Jeffrey Epstein's estate. These disturbing images raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world. Time to end this White House cover-up. Release the files!” they wrote.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has denied claims that he dined with Epstein or sought donations from him. Earlier efforts by House Republicans to censure Delegate Stacey Plaskett also failed in mid-November.

Meanwhile, federal judges have started clearing the way for the release of secret grand jury transcripts. On December 10, US District Judge Richard Berman allowed the Justice Department to release transcripts from Epstein’s 2019 case, reversing his previous decision to keep them sealed.

Berman noted that the roughly 70 pages contain little new information. This decision came just one day after Judge Paul Engelmayer approved the unsealing of separate grand jury transcripts and exhibits in Ghislaine Maxwell’s criminal case.
