WASHINGTON, DC: The White House put rumors about Donald Trump's declining health issues to rest during a press conference on Monday, December 1.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt read out the summary of Trump’s comprehensive executive physical and said that the MRI was “preventive.” She further said that his cardiovascular imaging was “perfectly normal."

Karoline Leavitt says Trump has ‘no acute or chronic concerns’

In the press conference, Karoline Leavitt answered questions about Donald Trump’s health.

One such question was about the president’s recent MRI, which Trump had claimed he had no objections to sharing.

Leavitt read out a summary provided by Donald Trump’s physician, during which she revealed that the president was in “excellent overall health.”

The White House press secretary stated that he had been assigned an MRI as a preventive measure because men in Trump’s age group “benefit from a thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health.”

She further said that they wanted to identify any issues early on, confirm overall health, and ensure that Donald Trump “maintains long-term vitality and function.”

Leavitt also said that President Trump’s cardiovascular imaging was “perfectly normal” and that there were no signs of “arterial narrowing, impairing blood flow, or abnormalities in the heart” or major vessels.

“The heart chambers are normal in size,” she said.

Karoline Leavitt further said that there were no signs of “inflammation or clotting.” The press secretary also shared the results of Trump’s abdominal imaging. She said that all major organs were “very healthy and well-perfused.”

“Everything evaluated is functioning within normal limits with no acute or chronic concerns,” she added.

Tim Walz’s critique of Trump’s health before the press conference

On Sunday, while on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press,’ Minnesota Governor Tim Walz elaborated on his “release the MRI results” response to Donald Trump.

At the time, Walz claimed that the president’s behavior was “not normal.” He further criticized Donald Trump for not releasing his medical reports and said it was concerning that Trump didn’t know why he needed an MRI to begin with.

Tim Walz further claimed that it was evident that Trump’s physical health was “fading” and that he didn’t think he was capable of being the president.
