White House posts 'Star Wars' meme showing muscled-up Trump wielding lightsaber to celebrate May the 4th

WASHINGTON, DC: The official White House X (formerly Twitter) account shared a Star Wars-themed meme on Sunday, May 4, of President Donald Trump holding a red lightsaber and dressed as a Jedi-style warrior.
May 4, referred to as May the 4th by fans as a nod to one of the franchise’s most iconic lines, "May the force be with you," is globally recognized as "Star Wars Day," according to Mediaite.

The White House posted an AI-generated image showing a muscular Donald Trump in a dark robe, holding a red lightsaber in front of two American flags with bald eagles perched behind him.
Happy May the 4th to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting so hard to to bring Sith Lords, Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, & well known MS-13 Gang Members, back into our Galaxy. You’re not the Rebellion—you’re the Empire.

White House previously shared AI image of Donald Trump in papal attire
This was not the first time that White House social media accounts made a bizarre post. The accounts shared a series of viral posts throughout the weekend, including one where Donald Trump was dressed in papal attire.
The POTUS initially shared the AI image on his Truth Social account without any caption on Friday.
In another post, the White House X account aimed at Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a man wrongly deported by immigration officials from Maryland to a prison in El Salvador.
Despite a Supreme Court ruling, the Trump administration has refused to facilitate Garcia’s return to the US amid a broader fight about due process, per Mediaite.

The White House social media account mocked him in a meme by connecting him to MS-13. The account posted an animated picture of the Maryland man and captioned it, "Ah yes, a true classic. We call this one... 'Not a Maryland Dad.'"
The social media account later quoted the Department of Homeland Security and wrote, "Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a MS-13 gang member, illegal alien from El Salvador, and suspected human trafficker."
