WASHINGTON, DC: Taylor Swift feels Donald Trump is struggling mentally after the former president shared a few fake images of the singer endorsing him as president for the November election.

The former president wrote, “I accept” in his post while sharing it on Truth Social platform.

According to Swift’s inner circle, Swift will never support Donald Trump. “If she didn’t support him last time, she’s not going to support him now,” they told Daily Mail.

“He’s clearly lost it in more ways than one,” the insider claimed.

However, it is unclear whether the Democratic nominee was emphasizing the AI-generated crowd of ‘Swifties’ or the fake endorsement from Swift.

What did Donald Trump share on social media?

Among the AI-generated images Donald Trump shared was one that depicted Taylor Swift dressed like Uncle Sam with the message, “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.”

Another image, clearly labeled as “satire,” featured a fake news article about a supposed foiled terror attack at Swift’s Austrian concert, with a headline reading, “Swifties turning to Trump after ISIS foiled Taylor Swift Concert.” Additional images showed young women wearing “Swifties for Trump” T-shirts.

Taylor Swift and her political inclinations

The ‘Karma’ singer who stayed away from politics surprisingly endorsed Tennessee Democrats including Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and House candidate Jim Cooper back in 2018.

“In the past I've been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now,” she explained in an Instagram post.

Swift added, “I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country.”

The singer further revealed her political leaning in 2020 when she openly supported Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

“I will proudly vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this year's presidential election,” she said back then.

“Under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs," she said in an interview with V Magazine.

She also tagged Trump in an X post blasting him. "After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? When the looting starts the shooting starts??? We will vote you out in November," she added at the time.

Swift has not yet publicly endorsed any candidate for the 2024 presidential election.
