NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The identity of the New York woman, who went viral for having a meltdown over a Donald Trump supporter wearing a MAGA cap at the subway, has recently been disclosed.

Earlier this month, the woman's unhinged reaction to a man wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ cap inside the New York subway was shared across social media platforms.

In the video that went viral, the woman was seen berating the Trump supporter, but in the end, she received "instant karma" when she tumbled face-first on the dirty station floor at the end of the confrontation.

Now, the woman in the video has been identified as New York resident Alberta Testanero, according to the New York Post.

As reported by the outlet, Alberta Testanero is a 55-year-old dual Italian-American citizen who is an extreme “liberal” and an increasingly “agitated” creative director for several luxury brands.

One of her former co-workers talked about her with The New York Post and said, “She and I stopped being friends a while ago, as she became extremely liberal and very agitated.”

Referencing the subway incident where Testanero called the man “uneducated” and “racist” for wearing the MAGA accessory, the one-time coworker said, “I see nothing has changed, but now she’s gotten into the extreme, doing things like this.”

According to Testanero’s profile, she is a freelance creative director and branding specialist, boasting experience of working with luxury brands like Tiffany & Co, Coach, Bergdorf Goodman and Kate Spade.

The Fashion Institute of Technology alum further described herself on her LinkedIn as, “An experienced team leader, I have a keen understanding of the relationship between corporate strategy and creative vision.”

Boasting of her enthusiasm and passion for every project, the Murray Hill resident wrote, “No matter how large or small, I approach every project with enthusiasm always furthering brand vision and maintaining the highest standards."

The incident that went viral on the internet around March 21 and took place on March 19, around 11.30 pm.

The agitated woman can be heard saying in the video, "He’s a racist! If you voted for Trump, you are a racist!” leading the man in question to say that he is a person of color, adding, "How can I be racist?”

Unperturbed, she further added, “If you f**king voted for Trump, you’re a racist!”

Laughing, the young man refuted the claim of him being a “racist,” and argued that he is indeed “highly educated.”

“Oh, are you?” the woman asked, before adding. “Then why are you wearing that hat? Only uneducated people wear that hat.”

Someone else chimed in off-camera, “That’s why he won, because of people like you.”

Following the heated conversation inside the carriage, as the man got down at the 28th Street station, the woman could be seen chasing him while attempting to grab the cap.

Unsuccessful, the woman finally landed face-first on the floor, leaving the Internet to concur that she has received "instant karma."
