President Joe Biden, former commander-in-chief Barack Obama, and NBA legend LeBron James are among who extended congratulations to the South Carolina women's basketball team Gamecocks following their victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes in the national championship game on Sunday, April 7. In a rematch of last season's Final Four, where the Gamecocks suffered their sole defeat of the season at the hands of the Hawkeyes, South Carolina secured their second national championship in three seasons, as per Daily Mail.
