Jewelry experts are already breaking down Kravitz’s eye-catching diamond ring. And while opinions differ slightly, most agree it is a standout piece with a serious price tag, as per People.
Laura Taylor, who specializes in engagement and wedding rings at Lorel Diamonds, believes the stone looks like an elongated cushion-cut diamond set in yellow gold with a smooth bezel-style setting. She estimates it may be on the smaller side compared to celebrity rings, around five or six carats.
"It appears to be very similar in size to the ring she previously wore from Channing Tatum (the now-exes were briefly engaged before splitting in October 2024), but with a slightly softer and less elongated shape, telling us that Zoe knows exactly what diamond proportions she loves on her hand," Taylor shared in a press release.
She also pointed out that the diamond seems brighter than her previous ring. “Despite being a similar size, the diamond appears noticeably brighter than her previous engagement ring, which can often be a sign of a very well-cut stone. Excellent cut quality helps a diamond reflect more light, creating stronger sparkle and brilliance," she added.
Meanwhile, Lisa Ingram, vice president of merchandising at KAY Jewelers, thinks the diamond could be even larger. In her view, it may be a radiant or cushion cut stone that weighs more than 10 carats, reflecting the growing trend of bigger center stones.
"From what we can see, the stone sits low in the basket for a sleek, modern profile. It is adorned with what appears to be a thin gold bezel. It's finished on a thin, minimalist yellow gold band," she added in a press release.
At Marrow Fine, founder and creative director Jillian Sassone also weighed in. She believes the ring features a very elongated cushion-cut diamond, possibly between seven and 10 carats, set in yellow gold.
In terms of value, experts say the ring could vary widely depending on its quality and whether it is custom-made. "Assuming a natural diamond with strong grading across the 4Cs (meaning the cut, color, clarity, and carat), we'd estimate this ring to be in the $300,300-$500,000 range." If the ring is custom, that can also bump up its amount," Taylor pointed out in her statement.
