In an interview with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum on Wednesday, October 15, Mamdani said, "I’ve said that this is a city that believes international law, and this is a city that wants to uplift and uphold those beliefs."
Martha MacCallum challenges Zohran Mamdani over ICC arrest plan for Netanyahu
When MacCallum confronted Mamdani about his plan to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that the US does not support the ICC, Mamdani acknowledged the lack of the treaty but said, "The Criminal Court, however, has issued a warrant for the arrest of Benjamin Netanyahu, as it has for Vladimir Putin."

He further said, "I've said that I believe that we should uphold arrest warrants by the International Criminal Court and that we would, should do so only in abiding with all of the laws in front of us. I'm not going to make a new law to ensure that we can actually do that."
Zohran Mamdani avoids answering if NYPD would permit Netanyahu arrest
When asked if NYPD Commissioner Tisch would allow the arrest, the NYC mayoral candidate avoided the question while asserting that he appreciates Tisch's leadership of the NYPD and that she has done a good job lowering crime across the city.

When asked again, he said, "I can tell you that I’m going to exhaust every legal option in front of me, not to make new laws to do so."
Zohran Mamdani refuses to credit Trump for Israel-Hamas ceasefire
Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani refused to give President Donald Trump credit for the recent Israel-Hamas ceasefire during the interview, stating it is "too early to do so."
Mamdani stated, "To any extent, credit or not, I think it's too early to do so, too early to say," and further added, "But if it proves to be something that is lasting, something that is durable, then I think that that's where you give credit."

Furthermore, Mamdani declined to directly address MacCallum's question about Hamas "laying down their arms" in Gaza.
Anchoring his response in international law, he asserted, "I don't really have opinions about the future of Hamas and Israel beyond the question of justice and safety and the fact that anything has to abide by international law, and that applies to Hamas, that applies to Israeli military, applies to anyone you could ask me about."
