WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump's recent interview with Laura Ingraham caught everyone's attention mainly because of the debate between the two regarding Canada.

However, apart from the discussion, Trump took the Fox News host on a tour of the Oval Office and it seemed like the POTUS has made some big upgrades to the interior. Let us take a look at the 6 big upgrades Trump made to the Oval Office.

1. Walls covered with portraits

Recent images and clips from the Oval Office showed every inch of available wall space has been covered by portraits, according to New York Mag

The White House thinks this makes the POTUS a bigger patriot than all of his predecessors.

Trump told Ingraham, "It’s much different, never been like that. You had some of those paintings in vaults and safes for 100 years!"

2. Giant portrait of Ronald Reagan

President Trump has also added a giant portrait of former president Ronald Reagan to the Oval Office.

Trump told Ingraham, "So Reagan has a place of prominence, and George Washington has a place of prominence. And I’ve asked this question maybe 200 times … I said, 'So, who would you put in the place of prominence? George Washington or Ronald Reagan? Who would you put?'"

Ingraham thought for a moment and said "Washington", which was the correct answer, per the outlet.

Trump revealed that Washington wins every time and yet he keeps asking the same question to his guests.

Trump said, "So far, it’s 219 to 0. And [these people] like Reagan!"

3. Copy of Declaration of Independence

The POTUS also has a copy of the Declaration of Independence in the White House which he got from the National Archives, per the New York Mag.

During the interview with Ingraham, Trump pulled back the protective drapes and admired the document without noting that it was not the original or providing any details on the historical significance.

He asked Ingraham, "Think Joe Biden would do this?"

He answered himself, "I don’t think so. Do you think he’d think of it? Do you think he knows what it is?"

4. 'Gulf of America' map

Donald Trump also added a printed map of the southern United States with the words 'Gulf of America' written in giant letters.

He noted that Tesla CEO Elon Musk used the name 'Gulf of America' during a phone call.

Trump said, "He said it naturally, he said it so routinely. How cool is that, right?"

5. Diet Coke button

During the Fox News interview, Laura Ingraham asked to see the famous Diet Coke button. She said, "The Declaration of Independence, Diet Coke. Yeah, that’s a combination I never thought I’d be asking about in the White House."

It seemed like it was just a dummy and didn't actually work as nothing really happened after Trump pressed the button.

6. Addition of a lot of gold

President Trump has added a good amount of gold to the Oval Office, ranging from picture frames to paperweights, to a gilded TV remote, per the outlet.

However, while talking about many gold angel statues imported from Mar-a-Lago, he told Ingraham, "Throughout the years, people have tried to come up with a gold paint that would look like gold."

He added, "And they’ve never been able to do it. You’ve never been able. Look at that, look. You’ve never been able to match gold with gold paint. That’s why it’s gold."
