WASHINGTON, DC: Elon Musk has seemingly drawn daggers against the trans community after he appeared to support an X (formerly Twitter) poster’s unproven claim that the majority of the offenders arrested for Tesla attacks are transgender or non-binary.

The tech billionaire's controversial take on the matter came on Thursday, March 20, the same day as his estranged trans daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, called him a "pathetic man-child" during an interview.

Re-sharing the post that claims that "3 out of 4 of the people who have been arrested for vandalizing Teslas are transgender or nonbinary," the SpaceX owner wrote that the probability of trans people being violent is "vastly higher" than their "non-trans" counterparts.

Elon Musk links trans people to Tesla attacks suggesting they're prone to violence

Elon Musk’s latest comments came at the heels of the nationwide protest against Tesla following his appointment to lead the Donald Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

As the DOGE lead, Musk undertook a mission of cutting government expenditures that subsequently led to mass layoffs across federal agencies.

Tesla is seen as the symbol of Musk’s growing influence over the government, leading to multiple attacks and protests against the electric vehicle company, as reported by Fox News

While the billionaire has previously called the attacks and vandalism of the showrooms and cars "evil," he has now seemingly linked the violence to the trans community.

Replying to the X post about 3 out of 4 of the people arrested for vandalizing Teslas being transgender or nonbinary, Musk wrote, "What are the statistics on trans violence?"

Without providing any statistical data to support his claim, he added, "The probability of a trans person being violent appears to be vastly higher than non-trans. Hormone injections cause extreme emotional volatility. That is simply a fact."

While Musk has not provided support to his claims, multiple studies have consistently shown that trans people are disproportionate victims of violence, as reported by People.

In February, the UCLA School of Law released a report that read, "LGBT victims of violence are also more likely than non-LGBT people to experience attacks that are more violent and to suffer injuries because of these attacks."

Elon Musk's estranged daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson no longer has room to care about him

Elon Musk's trans daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, called out her father and said that she doesn’t care about him any more during an interview with Teen Vogue published on Thursday.

The 20-year-old said, "I don't give a f**k about him. I really don't. It's annoying that people associate me with him. I just don't have any room to care anymore."

She also pushed back on the narrative that her coming out as a transgender pushed her father into an increasingly conservative mindset.

"That's not what that does to people. Him going further on the right, and I'm going to use the word ‘further’ — make sure you put ‘further’ in there — is not because of me. That's insane," Vivian expressed.

On being afraid of Musk, she said, "He's a pathetic man-child. Why should I be scared of this man? Because he's rich? Oh, no, I'm trembling. Ooh, shivering in my boots here. I don't give a f**k how much money anyone has. I don't. I really don't. He owns Twitter. Okay. Congratulations."

"We've seen such vicious attacks on trans minors, and it's really important that we protect our trans youth and do all that we can, especially in this increasingly hostile political landscape," added Musk's daughter, whom he shares with ex-wife, Justine Musk.

Vivian is among the eldest of Musk's 14 known children, whom he fathered with four different women.
