OMAHA, NEBRASKA: A woman reportedly barged her way into a home, claimed the life of her boyfriend in brutal manner and then attempted to flee the crime scene while only partially clothed. The motive was immediately not suggested by the investigators in Omaha, Nebraska, while they said that Alyssa K Roman, 31, fatally shot Alan Critser, 33.

According to Indiana radio station WBIW and Omaha ABC affiliate KETV, officials said they took Roman to a hospital because she appeared to show signs of excited delirium. Police said the killing happened on December 29 at an address on N 55th Plaza.

What did the officials say about the case involving Alyssa K Roman?

“Officers were called to the area at approximately 5.10 pm to investigate a possible home invasion,” officers wrote. Authorities reportedly said that Roman used Critser’s shotgun to shoot him in the torso and neck, resulting in his head being “almost off the body.” Prosecutors reportedly claim that Roman was high and partially clothed.

What happened after Alyssa K Roman committed the crime?

Following the shooting, Roman allegedly walked about 500 feet to another home and ran out of the back of that second home when officers arrived, KETV reported. Officers nonetheless managed to capture her. Police reportedly described finding “skull and brain matter” in the hallway of the murder scene. Critser’s body was found in the upstairs master bedroom with a gunshot to the head.

A shotgun was found in a separate upstairs bedroom, the barrel reportedly covered in women’s pants and underwear. Witnesses said Roman forced her away inside one of the homes while wearing just a shirt, police reportedly alleged.

Officers described her as telling them at police headquarters that, in their words, Critser “did not shoot himself and that they were the only two individuals present in the residence at the time the homicide occurred,” according to The Omaha World-Herald.

What charges does Alyssa K Roman face?

Roman is charged with second-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony. She is being held without bond at the Douglas County Jail, records show.

South Carolina father and stepmother arrested for killing their five-year-old son

Meaww previously reported that the father and stepmother of a five-year-old South Carolina boy, who was sexually assaulted and killed, have been arrested more than three decades after the child’s body was found stuffed into the cabinet of the couple’s camper.

Authorities announced that Victor Lee Turner and Megan Renee Turner were taken into custody on Monday, January 8, and charged with capital murder in the 1989 slaying of young Justin Turner.

According to a news release from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, authorities believe that on March 3, 1989, Justin left his home at about 11 am and was on his way to a friend’s house to catch the bus for school when he vanished.

It was later disclosed that Justin never made it to the bus stop that morning and was absent from school. A multi-agency search of the surrounding area, which included civilian volunteers, went on for two days before Victor Turner found the boy’s dead body “in a cabinet located in a camper in the yard of the residence.”
