Ana Navarro hails MAGA for 'not letting go' of Epstein Files hours after Pam Bondi's hearing
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Political commentator Ana Navarro said she gives the MAGA movement credit for refusing to drop demands for the release of the Epstein files.
Her comments came during even as she sharply criticized Attorney General Pam Bondi’s combative performance during a contentious Capitol Hill hearing.
Anna Navarro praises MAGA
On Thursday, February 12, Navarro opened up on Pam Bondi's clash with lawmakers and slammed her for not addressing the Epstein survivors.
During the hearing on Wednesday, Bondi clashed with lawmakers in a fiery exchange in which she declared: “I’m not going to get in the gutter for theatrics.”
Bondi continued, “You all should be apologizing. You sit here and you attack the president, and I am not going to have it.”
Navarro responded hours later by condemning what she described as a spectacle that diminished the institution of Congress.
“Listen, I’m an institutionalist. I want there to be some iota of respect for the institution of Congress,” Navarro said.
“I think this kind of performative theatrics, she says she’s not going to get in the gutter for her theatrics or somebody else’s theatrics. Everything she did today was performative. And I say this as somebody who has known Pam Bondi for many years.”
Navarro made clear that MAGA has, in her view, been consistent on the issue of the Epstein files.
“The part that really bothered me today, and I give MAGA a lot of credit, the one thing I give them credit for is not letting go of the Epstein files’ bone. They just never did,” she said.
“And there was people like Nancy Mays, like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who defied Donald Trump and voted to release these files, and the MAGA blogosphere and podcast universe who never let it go.”
At the same time, Navarro said Bondi missed a critical moment to acknowledge survivors present at the hearing.
“That being said, I thought today, Pam Bondi, having those victims, those survivors there, and the family of the survivors that have died, and not having the common courtesy of at the very least turning around and acknowledging their presence. And I do think, I do think those survivors are owed an apology by four administrations.”
Navarro said she has known Bondi for a long time while sharply criticising the shouting matches at the hearing yesterday.
Navarro said “I knew her back in Florida when she was attorney general. I don’t think these shouting matches, when Democrats were in power in Congress, the shouting matches still went on. When Republicans are in power, the shouting matches still go on. These congressional hearings have really degraded in general. I don’t know if we’ve seen anything quite like this.”
Ana Navarro stresses 'Bondi responsible for justice'
“This is her DOJ. It is up to her to prosecute if there’s prosecutable crimes. It is up to her to release all the files and comply with the law that was passed. It is up to her to give justice and closure to those survivors”, Navarro said.
She further described one moment as particularly disturbing.

“It was so shameful to me that those survivors got told and asked, raise your hand if you have called the DOJ and offered to testify. They all raised their hands, and none had been contacted by this DOJ, which is run by Pam Bondi, a woman from Florida who knows who Epstein is. That is damn disgusting and shameful.”
While Navarro condemned the hearing’s tone, she reiterated that sustained pressure over the Epstein files has come largely from the right.
