WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump is not only one of the most powerful men on the planet but also one of the most successful personalities as well.

The secret to the 78-year-old's success, as claimed by comedian Andrew Schulz, is that he "doesn’t sound rich."

Throughout his eventful life, Trump has worn many hats — from leading the Trump Organization to becoming a major television personality— and his crowning achievement: being elected the 45th and 47th president of the United States.

Andrew Schulz reflects on the secret to Donald Trump's success

Appearing on the Monday, March 17 episode of Dax Shepard’s ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast, Andrew Schulz shared his thoughts on Donald Trump and his success.

He said, "This is what people do not like to acknowledge. Trump doesn't sound rich when he talks. He sounds poor."

The comedian, who interviewed the president on his 'Flagrant' podcast ahead of the 2024 election and predicted that he would win "by a landslide," revealed that what sets Trump apart from his peers is that he talks in a relatable manner whose knowledge he gained from his life experience.

Schulz continued, "The face of the [Democratic] Party should not be like a fourth-generation trust fund nepo baby who's never had a real job, like, telling working-class Americans what they should [do]."

When 'Armchair Expert' co-host Monica Padman argued that Trump fits that description, Schulz interjected, saying there is a huge difference, as the MAGA spearhead "talks like he's from the neighborhood."

"They ask him today, 'And what happens if Russia does not do the ceasefire, what will happen?'" he added.

Schulz’s words - in a way - mimicked the now-infamous Oval Office meeting between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during which Trump was asked, "What if Russia breaks the ceasefire?" as per Fox News.

Trump, in his characteristic briskness, responded, "What if they — what if anything? What if a bomb drops on your head right now?"

However, Schulz explained that it is that quality that differentiates Trump from his peers - both from his party and his opponents.

"And then he goes …  'What if someone drops a bomb and it blows up on your head?’" the comedian shared, adding, "That's how Frank from the neighborhood would answer a question. So he communicates in a way that is super relatable to those people, despite his life not being at all relatable."

Andrew Schulz previously said Donald Trump talks like 'me and you'

Andrew Schulz shared a similar take on Donald Trump’s characteristics during his recent appearance on 'The Breakfast Club'.

He gushed about the president, saying, "What people like about Trump, despite being a billionaire... is he talks like me and you... That's the thing Democrats don't seem to understand."

Schulz also told host Charlamagne tha God that many Democrats who go to Ivy League universities "pretend to give a f**k about you guys. They don’t actually give a f**k about you guys, but they get patted on the back for pretending to do it."

He characterized the current state of the Democratic Party as "super-rich, nepo babies telling poor people how they should think and who they should vote for," as per the New York Post
