Luna slams Democrat critics while praising Iran agreement

Following a conversation with President Trump, Representative Anna Paulina Luna took to X to publicly congratulate him on his latest achievement.

She was quick to dismiss opposition from across the aisle, stating, “Some of my not-so-smart Democrat colleagues will soon be forced to issue public statements of support when they understand the terms of what the agreement is.”

Luna maintained that the President’s approach has been steady, asserting that “President Trump has been consistent and precise in his messaging from the beginning.”

She pointed out that this success comes at a critical time, noting that “only weeks ago, Iran was viewed as an existential threat to the US and most of Europe.”

Rep Luna hails Trump’s diplomacy as a victory over ‘existential threats’

Luna also used the announcement to criticize international and domestic detractors, claiming the situation has revealed uncomfortable truths.

She stated that “NATO exposed who they really are” and added that “many people got exposed.”

Luna went on to say that “those who try to use this to sow division or just straight-up lie have also outed themselves.”

Ultimately, she framed the deal as a victory, explaining that “from the beginning, this was about saving American lives.”

While concluding her stance, she claimed “President Trump has truly accomplished something that no other POTUS could have pulled off,” before declaring that “PEACE WILL ULTIMATELY PREVAIL.”

Trump suspends bombing and attack for ceasefire

Luna shared the President Trump's official announcement, which confirmed he is suspending the “bombing and attack of Iran” to allow for a two-week ceasefire.

In his post, President Trump explained the decision was “Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz.”

He confirmed the pause in military action, noting, “I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE!”

Trump stated that a 10-point proposal is currently being finalized to ensure long-term stability, concluding, “On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the Countries of the Middle East, it is an Honor to have this Longterm problem close to resolution.”
