CHAPPAQUA, NEW YORK: After Bill Clinton sat for a six-hour deposition on Friday, February 27, regarding his past connections with Jeffrey Epstein. Afterward, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna claims Clintons were targets of Epstein’s alleged 'honey pot' scheme

Both Clintons testified separately before the House Oversight Committee, answering questions about their associations with Epstein over 20 years ago. Bill Clinton did not speak to the media after his deposition, while Hillary Clinton gave a brief statement the previous day.

Luna told reporters, “I do believe that President Clinton as well as the secretary would potentially [be] targets of that operation, and we will leave it at that.” She added, “I look forward to seeing you all react to the depositions, as this is information important to the American people."

FBI memo and Justice Department records point to Epstein’s alleged intelligence ties

An FBI memo from October 2020 described Epstein as a “co-opted Mossad agent” and claimed he had been “trained as a spy.” The documents noted his connections to U.S. and allied intelligence through his lawyer, Alan Dershowitz, and revealed Epstein had exchanged emails with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and aide Yoni Koren, a military intelligence figure.

Additional records show Epstein interacting with Sergei Belyakov, a former Russian official linked to the Federal Security Service, in 2015. The correspondence discussed a woman allegedly attempting to blackmail New York associates. Epstein described the situation as “bad for business for everyone involved” and sought advice from Belyakov, according to reports.

Luna’s comments highlight her belief that Epstein’s reach and activities were strategic, suggesting that public figures like the Clintons may have been targets of sophisticated intelligence operations, not just social acquaintances of the late financier.
