BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS: A recent exclusive report has revealed that Kristin Cabot, Astronomer’s chief people officer, is reportedly married to the CEO of another company, and the two bought a $2.2 million home together just months before the public scandal erupted.
The revelation follows a viral moment at Coldplay’s July 16 concert at Boston’s Gillette Stadium, where the HR chief was seen in a steamy embrace with Astronomer CEO Andy Byron. When the stadium’s kiss cam landed on them mid-cuddle, the pair awkwardly turned away, Andy even ducking out of frame, triggering widespread speculation and backlash online.
Kristin Cabot and her husband bought a $2.2 million house in February

An exclusive report from the New York Post revealed that Kristin Cabot is supposedly married to Andrew Cabot, the CEO of Massachusetts-based spirits company Privateer Rum.
Property records indicate that the 52-year-old, whose maiden name is Stanek, has shared a residence in Rye, New Hampshire, with Andrew Cabot since at least 2023.
According to Privateer Rum’s website, Andrew serves as both CEO and COO. His biography notes that his namesake ancestor, Andrew Cabot (1750–1791), was a rum distiller, merchant, and privateer during the American Revolution.
Records show that after previously being listed as co-residents at another Rye address, Kristin and Andrew purchased a $2.2 million, four-bedroom New England-style home near the Atlantic coast in February. While they share both a last name and ownership of the property, their marriage date and location remain unconfirmed.
Kristin’s now-deleted LinkedIn profile listed her as an advisory board member at Privateer Rum since September 2020. This week, a photo allegedly showing the couple with two children also surfaced on social media, adding to the speculation.

In a statement shared on LinkedIn, the company emphasized its commitment to core values and leadership standards.
“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability,” the company stated. “The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly."
Previous reports revealed that Kristin filed for divorce from her former husband, Kenneth Thornby, in 2018, with the divorce finalized in 2022.

Kristin and Andy's attempt to avoid the camera, by turning away and ducking out of frame during the kiss cam moment, went viral online. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin added to the buzz, joking, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy."
Meanwhile, Andy is believed to be married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, who removed his last name from her social media accounts before eventually deactivating them, following a surge of public reaction.
On the other side of the story, Privateer Rum, led by Andrew, allegedly Kristin’s current spouse, emphasizes integrity and craftsmanship in its branding.
According to the company’s website, Andrew works closely with his team to deliver premium-quality rum, guided by a simple career philosophy: “How can we do this better?”
The brand promotes its use of authentic ingredients and proudly highlights its American-made roots. One advertisement declares, “Privateer advocates transparency, honesty, and purity,” with some of its top-shelf bottles retailing for over $100.
