BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS: What began as a dazzling night of music took a dramatic twist when the kiss cam at a packed Coldplay concert caught a married tech tycoon locked in a steamy embrace with his Chief People Officer.

The duo, identified as Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the firm’s Chief Human Resources Officer Kristin Cabot, rushed to hide their faces after the jumbotron caught them mid-cuddle during Coldplay’s set at Boston’s Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, June 16.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was in the middle of his signature audience interaction when the camera landed on a far more scandalous sight, showing Andy Byron embracing Kristin Cabot from behind, his arms draped across her chest as their fingers remained tightly entwined.

The moment they appeared on the jumbotron, Cabot instinctively covered her face and whipped around, while Byron ducked down to vanish out of the frame. 

At first glance, Martin believed the camera had captured a tender moment between two lovers. “Look at these two,” he cooed warmly.

However, his reaction quickly changed as he saw Byron and Cabot rushing out of frame. “Oh, what?” Martin can be heard saying in viral videos. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” he continued.

“Holy s**t. I hope we didn’t do something bad,” he added, according to additional footage taken shortly after. 

The ‘relationship’ between Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot

The pair appear to work together at Astronomer, an AI and data company valued at approximately $1.2 billion. Andy Byron, who was appointed CEO of Astronomer in 2023, openly praised Kristin Cabot’s professional background when she joined the company in November of that year.

“Kristin’s exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and scaling people strategies will be critical as we continue our rapid trajectory,” he said at the time.

However, on the personal front, Byron is reportedly married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, while Cabot recently finalized her divorce from her husband, Kenneth Thornby. 

According to Massachusetts court records, Cabot and Thornby filed for divorce in 2018, with the separation officially finalized in 2022. The former couple share at least one child, and Thornby was ordered to make a lump-sum child support payment to Cabot.
