Leading the charge are prominent figures from various sectors who have pledged substantial contributions. Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy promised to match the staggering $750,000 raised through his website's store, totaling an impressive $1.5 million.

The New York Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund has pledged an initial $50,000 and an annual stipend of $10,000 for Diller's widow, Stephanie. Additionally, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation has vowed to cover the mortgage on the Diller family's home in Massapequa Park.

Organizations like COPSHOT and the Silver Shield Foundation have also stepped forward, with the latter offering financial assistance for the education and future of Diller's 1-year-old son, Ryan.

Diller, a 31-year-old officer with just three years of service, was fatally shot during a routine traffic stop in Queens. The encounter escalated into a shootout when career criminal Guy Rivera, 34, allegedly opened fire, striking Diller beneath his protective vest. Despite his injuries, Diller managed to wrestle Rivera's gun to the ground.
