WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump was sworn into office of the President of the US during the inauguration ceremony amid the presence of his family members and several industrialists from America.

While the ceremony was attended by several famous people, it was but a matter of time before someone else would take a share of Trump’s spotlight.

Foremost among them was Trump’s youngest son, Barron, whose "difference in energy” from the 78-year-old Republican’s friend Elon Musk took the internet by storm, per Daily Mail.

Barron Trump and Elon Musk’s ‘difference in energy’ noticed online

Though Barron Trump and the Tesla boss weren’t seated next to each other for most of the ceremony, at one point during the inauguration, both of them were caught in a single frame.

The frame, in turn, managed to capture the perfect “difference” in the duo’s expressions as the 53-year-old Space X CEO has captured jubilating, while the NYU student was his usual somber self.

As Musk was enthusiastically clapping and cheering in support of Trump, the 18-year-old youngest progeny of Donald Trump appeared more sedate - even though he was clapping.

The difference soon caught the Internet’s attention. Politician Derrick Evans shared the clip of Musk and Barron sharing the screen, writing, "Who decided to put @elonmusk and Barron Trump beside of each other. The difference in energy is hilarious 🤣."

Musk’s exuberant outburst came just a few moments after the newly sworn-in president vowed to plant the American flag on Mars.

While Barron’s applause at the matter was not as jubilating as the billionaire businessman's, his understated expression was in line with the behavior he had previously shown in public.

Musk, who has been named the chief of the new Department of Government Efficiency, on the other hand, has styled his persona as the overtly cheerful and confident billionaire genius.

He has also shared the same clip on his X profile, celebrating the president's vow of conquering Mars, and writing in caption, "🇺🇸🇺🇸 AMERICA IS GOING TO MARS 🇺🇸🇺🇸."

Internet notices Elon Musk and Barron Trump's 'difference in energy'

The Internet exploded as the clip of Elon Musk and Barron Trump sharing a screen went viral. Fans could not help but notice the "difference in energy," with several netizens even drawing similarity between seating the most energetic student in elementary school beside the quietest one.

One of the social media users asked underneath Derrick Evans' post, "It is funny. Did someone seat them together on purpose? 😂😂"

Someone else hypothesized, "They had a freaky Friday moment, but absolutely loving the way elon is rejoicing!"

"Speaks volumes in my eyes. Barron is more reserved and acts older than his age. He’s well put together and maintained. I like that about him," praised someone else.

"Lol Yeah I was giggling my a** off when I saw that happening," shared someone else while empathizing with the teen, writing, "Poor Barron looked like he was in serious need of a tension breaking scream in whatever empty room was closest."

"It reminds me of when I made a seating chart in my high school class and put my most introverted kid next to my ADHD poster child. 😂🤣," shared someone else.

Another user penned, "One probably feel like he's on top of the world while the other might feel the weight of the world."

Someone else went a step ahead, while conjecturing, "Imagine a "Buddy Cop" film, only these two are crew on a Mission to Mars."

"I felt like Barron was looking around being protective of his Dad," hypothesized someone else.

Another social media user compared the situation with, "When you’re stuck next to the over enthusiastic guy at the Blackjack table 🙄."

"It’s like in elementary school when they put the…kid with a lot of energy, next to the quiet well behaved one in hopes they keep them in check," shared someone else.
