Internet mocks Donald Trump's denial of ceding presidency to Elon Musk

Following Donald Trump's denial of reports claiming he had ceded the presidency to Elon Musk, social media quickly reacted, with many mocking the former president for appearing "bothered" by the influence of the world's richest man.

A user asked, "He's very bothered by Elon being the actual president isn't he?"

Another added calling Musk the president-elect, "What does President Elect Musk have to say about this lol - Donnie's gonna get a stern talking to."

A third commentator claimed, "No, what's happening is Musk tells you what to do, and you say 'Yes, sir.'"

"The opposite of what Trump says is always true," a comment read.

A person claimed, "@realDonaldTrump, you can say that all you want but you know you're wrong."

One chimed in, "TFW you want to assure people you’ve not been bought and paid for, but despite a lifetime of hyperbole, misrepresentation, and outright lies, you can’t quite get there…"

An X user said, "Too late, it's apparent that he already has."
