WASHINGTON, DC: Elon Musk has come under scrutiny from a section of social media users after he posted a series of doctored images of Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren following her scrutiny of the Tesla CEO.

Recently, Warren stirred controversy among Republican supporters after she questioned Musk’s potential conflict of interest after Donald Trump has been elected as the 47th President of America.

Soon, Musk took to his X handle to share a series of AI-generated images of Warren where the Democratic Senator is seen donning stereotypical Native American dresses and headgear.

Previously, Elizabeth Warren stirred controversy when she wrote a letter to Donald Trump, highlighting a 'massive conflict of interest' in the X owner.

She wrote, "Mr Musk’s substantial private interests present a massive conflict of interest with the role he has taken on as your ‘unofficial co-president,’" according to Reuters.

Trump campaign hit back at the concern by seemingly giving her a racist nickname of ‘Pocahontas’, which again stemmed in from one of her past claims of having Native American ancestry.

Now, Musk has also hit back at the politician when he shared the AI-generated images of Warren in a native headgear.

Without naming Warren, he simply captioned the post, “Guess who this is? 🤣🤣.”

According to HuffPost, a 2018 DNA test showed that Warren likely has a Native American ancestry even though most of her ancestors are Europeans.

After her letter to Trump, the president-elect’s spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told Fox News, "President Trump has assembled the most impressive and qualified team of innovators, entrepreneurs, and geniuses to advise and staff our government.”

Leavitt continued, “Pocahontas can play political games and send toothless letters, but the Trump-Vance transition will continue to be held to the highest ethical and legal standards possible—a standard unfamiliar to a career politician whose societal impact is 1/1024th of Elon Musk’s."

Elon Musk called a 'racist' by a section of social media users

A section of Internet was not happy with Elon Musk posting the doctored images as they called him "racist." Some of them even referenced his South African heritage while slamming the tech billionaire.

A social media user said, "If this is your AI smear then you are the one to ridicule and reject. Do you have any particular problem with "White people" being allies of Indigenous/Native People?"

"I think it's time for Elon Musk to be deported back to South Africa where he was obviously raised to be racist," shared someone else.

Another noted, "The reason the two get along so well! Two rich “kids” who were both probably hated prior to getting wealthy, buying and bullying their way around! Racism being the base of their behavior."

"Musk is typical White racist South African. He fits in well in racist USA," said another user.

One chimed in, "Beyond me how Congressmen haven't banned him from having contracts already."

"It is more than disturbing that Elon Musk would think it appropriate to post this. Just my opinion of course," mused another user, not satisfied with the images.

Someone else noted, "I never thought you were racist Elon 🤦‍♂️."
