Ben Shapiro says Taylor Swift is ‘not the make or break’ endorsement for Joe Biden, Internet agrees
BOCA RATON, FLORIDA: The recent uproar among conservative voices concerning a conspiracy theory about Taylor Swift's potential impact on the upcoming presidential election has disconcerted people online.
This theory suggests that the ‘Lavender Haze’ singer, who has also faced criticism for her appearances at Kansas City Chiefs games to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, is working as a psy-op for the Pentagon, using her platform to promote a liberal political agenda.

This theory was given credence on Fox News but has since been criticized on various talk shows and late-night TV.
Ben Shapiro, a conservative political commentator and editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire, also expressed skepticism about the theory during an appearance on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored'.
Shapiro weighed in on the conspiracy as the nation is gearing up for the presidential election, which is presumably going to be a rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

What did Shapiro say during his appearance on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored'?
Morgan began the discussion by referencing a research study that suggested Taylor Swift held a considerable amount of influence on younger US voters.
“This election will see 8 million new voters in the US electorate, and 41 million Gen Z voters,” he stated. “According to one poll, 18% of voters say they’re more likely, or significantly more likely to vote for a candidate endorsed by Taylor Swift, the phenomenon of our age.”
"A lot of conservatives have gotten very upset about this, and thinks she's going to deliberately sabotage the whole thing by saying 'Vote Biden,'" he claimed, before asking Shapiro for his opinion on the matter.
According to a report by Daily Express US, Shapiro first pointed out that the same study found 17% of people would be less likely to vote for the current President if he were endorsed by Swift, before skewering the premise behind the fringe theory.
“This whole thing, it really is just a sign of our absurd times, instead of focusing in on the actual issues, like who is going to run the country? How is that foreign policy going to be effectuated? Is the economy going to heal?” Shapiro remarked. “Everybody’s focused in on, ‘Is there a CIA conspiracy around Taylor Swift?’”
Additionally, Shapiro elucidated that although Swift is being praised for encouraging her followers to cast ballots, her influence isn't as strong as it first appears, and she won't be the one holding the cards for Biden.

He argued, “Taylor Swift has something like 200 million plus…Instagram followers. She put it out on Instagram telling people to register to vote; she got 35,000 people to vote.”
“160 million voted in the last election cycle–Taylor Swift is not going to be the make or break for Joe Biden,” the host of ‘The Ben Shapiro Show’ concluded.

It is worth noting that any influence the 12-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter could have on the polls might not be necessary at this stage of the election cycle as the latest Quinnipiac poll reveals that President Joe Biden has widened his lead over his predecessor, Donald Trump, with 50% of voters indicating that they would vote for the incumbent, while only 4% of voters show support for the presumptive GOP presidential nominee.
In the event that Nikki Haley, the sole remaining Republican nominee, miraculously clinches the nomination and faces off against the incumbent, she has a chance of beating him, as the poll revealed that she has 47% support, while Biden has 42%.
This latest polling data suggests that Haley's candidacy could pose a significant challenge to Biden's presidential aspirations, rather than the party’s figurehead, Donald Trump.
