CORALVILLE, IOWA: Former President Donald Trump has made baseless allegations against President Joe Biden, claiming that the latter is attempting to remain in power by violating the Constitution.

Addressing the crowd at a rally in Coralville, Iowa, on December 13, Trump said, "Crooked Joe Biden and the far-left lunatics are desperate to stop us by any means necessary. They're willing to violate the US Constitution at levels never seen before in order to win an election."



 

The former president's remarks come amidst his own legal battle with 91 charges against him, including his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

This event also witnessed pastor Joel Tenney, a staunch Trump supporter, warning everyone that there will be "retribution" for people who "promoted evil" in the country after Trump becomes president.

Donald Trump accuses Joe Biden and Democrats of election interference

Trump, who continues to claim that he was the rightful winner in 2020, said the incumbent president and his party are trying to interfere in the election by weaponizing law enforcement due to their alleged underwhelming performance at the polls.

"They are weaponizing law enforcement for high-level election interference because they are just losing so badly at the polls," said Trump.

Trump, who is eying the Oval Office for a second term in the 2024 elections, is still dominating the polls according to Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

The billionaire's accusations are not only contained to Biden and Democrats alone.

He also took personal jabs at his fellow Republican presidential contenders over their performance at the fourth GOP debate in Alabama on December 6.

According to CNN, in December 2022, in a Truth Social post, the former President asked if the people were willing to denounce the 2020 presidential election result and "declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER" or "have a NEW ELECTION."
