Bill Clinton’s shaking hands in Epstein deposition video spark health concerns
WASHINGTON, DC: A video of Bill Clinton testifying about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein is once again making waves online, but not just for what he said.
Clips released by the GOP-led House Oversight Committee show the 79-year-old former president with visibly shaking hands, prompting many viewers to ask, “Why are they shaking?”

Why?
He's having to sit there and LIE non-stop about not raping children. This should be pretty obvious by now. pic.twitter.com/cpwLAZuQKm
Bill Clinton shaking hands fuel health concerns
In several moments of the testimony, Bill Clinton’s hands appear to tremble as he answers questions alongside Hillary Clinton. One short clip quickly gained traction. After a question from Representative Nancy Mace, Clinton lifts a cup of water. As he drinks, his hands shake noticeably while he sits with his legal team before the committee.
The clip spread rapidly on social media, with users zooming in on his hands and speculating about his health. Some questioned whether the tremors could signal Parkinson’s disease, a nervous system condition known to cause shaking.
This is not the first time Clinton’s shaking hands have drawn public attention. The former president has spoken openly about the tremors in the past and has said they are related to aging.
According to a 2013 report from The Hill, Clinton explained that he had the condition checked when he first noticed it. “The first time it happened, I had to go get myself checked to make sure I didn’t have Parkinson’s, and I was so relieved I didn’t care how much it shook after that,” Clinton had said.
He added, “If I had Parkinson’s, I wanted to know so I could prepare. And I had it tested and the doctor said ‘no.’ He says it’s just a normal aging phenomenon.”
Despite that earlier clarification, the newly surfaced testimony footage has brought the conversation back into focus.
Epstein files photo puts Bill Clinton on defense
The GOP-led House Oversight Committee recently released the testimony video as part of its review of the Clintons’ past association with Jeffrey Epstein.
Beyond the tremors, Clinton was also questioned about a controversial photograph that recently emerged in files released by the Department of Justice under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
The image reportedly shows Clinton in a hot tub with an unidentified woman whose face was redacted. The exact location and circumstances of the photo have not been publicly confirmed.
A New York Post report suggested it may date back to a 2002 trip involving Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Clinton addressed the image during the testimony, saying, "I don't think I ever knew the photo was taken."
He further explained that the image “was taken in Brunei, and we flew one night on a trip to Asia, the last very long leg.” He confirmed that Epstein and Maxwell were part of that trip.
Bill Clinton explains Brunei visit ties
Providing more context, Bill Clinton spoke about his relationship with the Sultan of Brunei and how the trip came about.
“The Sultan of Brunei was a man that I had gotten to know well in my eight years as president,” Clinton said. "And his first involvement with international matters was basically to join the Asian Pacific Economic Leaders Conference, which I started and which he attended."
He continued, “Then he was very proud of that, and he hosted. His time came to host it. You do these things in a rotation, and it came at the very end of my term or maybe in the next year.”
Clinton added, “Anyway, he wanted, when he knew I was coming, he said he wanted to help me with my AIDS initiative, and he invited me to stay there.”
