WASHINGTON, DC: Bill O’Reilly said President Donald Trump has hinted at big things on the horizon for the United States, though exactly what remains a mystery.

During the Monday, April 14, episode of his 'No Spin News' broadcast, O’Reilly shared that he spoke with Trump over the weekend and received what he described as an encouraging update, reports The Wrap.

Bill O’Reilly says Donald Trump assured 'very good news' for America

Bill O' Reilly brought good news for the people of America.

“I talked with President Trump briefly over the weekend,” O’Reilly said, adding, “And he says there is going to be some very good news for the country coming up shortly.”

While the longtime commentator didn’t press Trump for specifics, he did say the conversation centered on economics and foreign policy, topics that have dominated headlines amid growing global tensions and financial uncertainty.

O’Reilly, whose media career spans more than 50 years, continued, "I didn’t push him on it — it was a casual conversation."

He also dismissed the idea that he held back from asking more because he didn’t know Trump well enough, making it clear that wasn’t the case at all.

“I’ve known the man 35 years. He’s never misled me one time,” he said. “He’s been mad at me, but even then, he’d just ignore me or send me a text telling me how terrible I am — you know, that kind of thing. But he hasn’t misled me. If he says there are good things ahead, I tend to believe it."

“I can’t get more specific than that at this point. When I can, I will," said O'Reilly.

A vague update from former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly hinting at upcoming “good news” for the people of the country from Donald Trump, sent internet into a frenzy, though the mood was more skeptical than celebratory, especially after Trump announced reciprocal tariffs on dozens of nations on April 2. These tariffs triggered a global market turmoil.

One user mocked, “If Trump says it's ‘good news’ then it's got to be yet another disastrous issue. And it sounds to me like Bill O'Reilly is trying to get his voice heard again and using a flimsy reason to try to do it.”

Others took a more sarcastic approach. “Let me guess… Trump’s going to announce several trade deals and claim they’re the best trade deals in the history of the world. The most beautiful trade deals ever made," said one user.

Another user commented, “Good news? Wait, let me guess—more tariffs.”

“Trump is picking up where he left off in 2020: Crashing the Stock Market, Raising Inflation, Misleading Americans, Shorting our Supply Chains, RAISING THE DEFICIT,” one wrote.

“He’s never misled you? You must be the exception. He misled customers, employees, vendors, contractors, the public, voters, Congress, etc,” one wrote.
