LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Billie Eilish, who has been an outspoken critic of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), made a bold political statement by arriving on the red carpet with an "ICE Out" pin to join a wave of celebrity protests against the federal government's conduct.

The pop star’s choice of accessory highlighted growing outrage over ICE’s actions in Minneapolis, including the use of deadly force.

Eilish wore a navy jacket and a matching skirt, both made from repurposed wool pants.

A white sleeve from Hodakova’s cotton shirt peeked out from under the jacket, adding a playful twist with what looked like extra sleeves. The outfit was finished with upcycled belts, a signature touch by designer Ellen Hodakova Larsson.

On the collar of her jacket, Eilish wore a black‑and‑white pin that said "ICE Out."

Celebrities, including Olivia Wilde and Natalie Portman, have worn similar pins as a protest symbol against ICE and its tactics after deadly shootings by ICE agents in Minneapolis, a demonstration that has sparked national outrage and activism.

Earlier in January, Billie Eilish spoke out about protests against US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after deadly encounters involving the agency in Minneapolis. She shared a series of Instagram stories condemning ICE and urging her followers to take action.

In her posts, she referenced the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good and highlighted broader concerns about ICE’s enforcement practices as demonstrations intensified in Minnesota.

Eilish reshared multiple posts from poet and activist Sonia Guinansaca on January 9, including a message that said: “Abolish ICE!!!! No one should be dying/murdered at the hands of ICE…” and named several people who have died in encounters with the agency.

At the 2026 Grammys, many other celebrities also wore "ICE OUT" pins to show support for protests against ICE. Stars like Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Kehlani, Joni Mitchell, Amy Allen, and Samara Joy appeared on the red carpet with the pins as a symbol of solidarity with people speaking out against the agency’s tactics.
