Blaise Taylor: Ex-college football star who worked as an NFL scout arrested for murdering his pregnant GF
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Former Arkansas State college football star who has worked as an analyst on college football staff and as an NFL scout has been apprehended for allegedly murdering his pregnant girlfriend. Blaise Taylor, 27, from Utah was arrested on Thursday night, March 14, for poisoning his girlfriend and her unborn child in the city of Nashville, Tennessee.
The United States Marshals served an indictment from Nashville police which states Taylor faces two counts of first-degree murder. According to the indictment, the suspect poisoned Jade Benning in February 2023 who later died on March 6 on her 25th birthday, ESPN reports.
Unfortunately, the victim's five-month-old fetus died on February 27 which was believed to be the child of Taylor as well.

At the time of his arrest, Blaise Taylor was a staff member of the Tennessee Titans where he rose in the pro-scouting department. He then joined Utah State as a senior defensive analyst in 2023 and had been hired for a similar role at Texas A&M.
Trooper Taylor, Blaise's father, had been recently hired to the Texas A&M coaching staff as a running backs coach and associate head coach under new head coach Mike Elko. Blaise Taylor was slated to join his father in this new job but his career is now probably over, especially if he is convicted guilty of the crime.
During his college years, Taylor was a four-year starter at Arkansas State where Trooper coached defensive backs at the time. Blaise served as captain and got his first-team All-Sun Belt honors as a defensive back and a punt returner.

Blaise Taylor poisoned Benning without her knowledge while visiting her apartment, according to reports. The Nashville police confirmed that they are doing their best to transport Taylor back to the city from Utah.

On Tuesday afternoon at 1.15 pm, authorities were called to an address in Las Vegas, Nevada. On September 28, Jones was first arrested on two charges of violating a domestic violence protective order. The 33-year-old reportedly took items from a woman's home. He then sent the video of himself allegedly in the nude burning the items which included dog toys, a pool net, and a recycling bin.
