After her arrest on suspicion of DUI on Thursday, March 4, in Ventura, California, Spears has been prioritizing spending time with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, reported People. Spears shares her sons, Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline, with ex Kevin Federline.
"Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being," Spears' rep was quoted as saying by the magazine.
According to sources cited in the report, Jayden reunited with his mother at her Los Angeles home in November 2024, and the two have been enjoying their time together since then.
Britney Spears' DUI arrest
Earlier this month, on Thursday, March 4, Spears was arrested in California for allegedly driving under the influence after consuming alcohol.
The singer was detained by the California Highway Patrol (CHP). "This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable,” a representative for her told the BBC.
Spears reportedly drove her BMW “erratically at a high rate of speed”. CHP said that she “showed signs of impairment”.
Spears agreed to undergo a series of field sobriety tests after police stopped her vehicle.
Spears' representative added at the time: "Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney's life.
"Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”
She was soon released from jail, and her court appearance is scheduled for May 4 at Ventura County Superior Court.
