SANTEE, CALIFORNIA: Investigators of Santee Police have not been able to identify a woman who was found dead near a creek in Santee during severe storms and torrential rains.

Deceased woman's sketch released

San Diego County Medical Examiner's office released a sketch of the deceased woman on Friday, February 2, hoping that someone would identify her.

She was found dead on January 22, when a powerful storm slammed the region. County officials have stated that they think the storm may have contributed to her death, but they have not stated if the storm caused flooding or rushing water to sweep her away. Investigation into the cause of death is still underway.

Following the flooding, a second victim was discovered in Santee, and it is believed that the storm contributed to his death as well.

His name was given as 48-year-old Manuel Andres Perez. The exact location of his body's discovery has not been made public by the county. His cause of death is still unknown, and the investigation is still ongoing.
