PHOENIX, ARIZONA: Charlie Kirk's wife Erika shared a series of emotional pictures as she wept beside her husband's casket in an intimate final farewell to the conservative commentator.

Erika made the post on Instagram just hours after delivering a powerful public speech from Charlie's studio, where she vowed to continue his mission and "never let his legacy die."

Erika Kirk whispers 'I love you, God bless you'

In the carousel of pictures and videos on Instagram, Erika Kirk could be seen gently stroking her husband’s hand and sitting beside his body, dressed in a dark suit and red tie, inside a lacquered wooden casket.

Through muffled sobs, she whispered, "Oh I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. God bless you," her voice cracking as she wept over his body.

In another picture, she appeared with her back to the camera, her long blonde hair cascading over her shoulders, as she collapsed in grief, lying draped across her husband's casket.

In the posts, Charlie Kirk's face was not visible, but his body was clearly present, his unmistakable frame lying in the casket.

Earlier, Erika had promised to continue the political movement Charlie started as she stood next to the empty chair once used by her husband in his studio while addressing an online audience.

During the emotional speech, where she paused several times to catch her breath and wipe away tears, Erika called on Charlie's followers to become members of a church before making a vow to her late husband.

Erika Kirk delivers powerful message to 'evildoers responsible' for Charlie Kirk's death

During her speech, Erika delivered a powerful message to the "evildoers responsible" for Charlie Kirk's death, saying they "have no idea what they have done."

She said, "They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and of God's merciful love. But they should all know this. If you thought that my husband's mission was powerful before, you have no idea."

Erika added, "You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country."

She further said that Turning Point USA, the organization her husband co-founded, would continue with its fall campus tour as planned, with even more tours in the years to come.

Erika also recalled a heartbreaking moment with her daughter after Charlie's death.

She said, "[Our daughter said] 'Mommy, I missed you.' I said, 'I missed you too.' She goes, 'Where's daddy?' She's three."

"I said, 'Baby, daddy loves you so much. He's on a work trip with Jesus, so he can afford your blueberry budget,'" an emotional Erika said.
