WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Ken Buck (R-Colo) took aim at former colleague Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga) on Monday, April 8, calling her "Moscow Marjorie", according to The Hill.

The jibe comes after Greene threatened to seek a vote to remove Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) over Ukraine funding, prompting previous Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif) to refer to Greene as a "very serious legislator." Buck disapproved of McCarthy's evaluation.

He informed Erin Burnett in a CNN interview, "My experience with Marjorie is, people have talked to her about not filing articles of impeachment on President Biden before he was sworn into office, on not filing articles of impeachment that were groundless made on other individuals in the Biden administration."

He continued, "And she was never moved by that. She was always focused on her social media account. And Moscow Marjorie is focused now on this Ukraine issue and getting her talking points from the Kremlin and making sure that she is popular and she is getting a lot of coverage."

Notably, Greene has been adamantly against increasing help to Ukraine. Before the Easter vacation, she filed a move for Johnson to resign as Speaker, threatening to make the motion privileged if Johnson tried to pass a measure.

Moreover, Buck left Congress unexpectedly in April. After he sought to oust McCarthy from the Speakership last year, he fought with the Georgia Republican in the closing months of his term. Notably, Greene was a strong ally of McCarthy's.

Internet agrees with Ken Buck's 'Moscow Marjorie' comment

People on the Internet seemed to side with Ken Buck as he trolled Majorie Taylor Greene. A user wrote on X, "Unbelievable vile hatred that comes out of that woman’s mouth towards Ukraine and she has no idea what it’s like or has ever been I dare say! Yet Russia is amazing."

Another commented, "Wow... Moscow Marg... it's just been sitting there in front of us all this time," while someone added, "I think that it's clear that Empty Greene is a complete circus act."

An X user wrote, "Even Traditional Republicans like, Ken Buck understand what a danger MTG is to our Democracy!" while another mentioned, "MTG is with Moscow. She spews Putin/Trump propaganda. So does Bobo (and her placeholder Lopez). So do MAGA CHAMPIONS on #DenverTrumpRadio. Ken Buck tells the truth now. Better late than never."
