WASHINGTON, DC: Congressman Riley Moore shared an update on Andrew Wolfe’s health during his appearance on ‘Fox and Friends Weekend’ on Saturday, November 29.

The representative said that the National Guard member, who was shot in Washington earlier this week, was “hanging on,” noting that his family was calling for prayers.

Riley Moore urges America to pray for National Guardsman

While on 'Fox and Friends Weekend', Riley Moore opened up about his conversations with Wolfe’s family. He said that his father was a deputy sheriff in a county near his own and that Andrew wanted to follow in his footsteps and “serve his nation.”

Commenting on Wolfe’s health, Moore said that the member of the National Guard was a “fighter” and recalled the Wolfe family telling him the same thing.

However, Riley revealed that the one thing the family wanted more than anything was for America to continue to pray for Andrew’s recovery.

“I believe in the power of prayer and I can promise you his parents believe in the power of prayer. Please keep praying,” he added.

Riley Moore’s stance on immigrants in America

In light of the recent attack in Washington, DC, Riley Moore was asked about his thoughts on Donald Trump’s permanent pause on immigration from certain countries.

Moore said that he believed that the president was acting correctly by “re-vetting these individuals.”

However, the congressman believed that Rahmanullah Lakanwal “should never have been” in America. He claimed that America had over “80,000 Afghan nationals piled into” the United States.

He further claimed that, to his knowledge, it was the first time that any government had brought in people allegedly associated with organized crime to America.

Recalling the Abbey Gate attack and the American lives lost at the time, Moore said that Joe Biden’s “failed policy” had put another American’s life in danger.

Moore spoke of Sarah Beckstrom, the National Guard member who succumbed to her injuries after the recent DC attack.

He added that they should not have been in such a position to begin with. He also said that Republicans such as himself would continue to stay focused on the issue.

Riley added that they didn’t know “who else was here” and what threats were brought into America as part of Biden’s Operation Allies Welcome
